Leave No Trace Ireland, in partnership with the Climate Action Regional Office (CARO), the University of Galway and the Mayo Sligo and Leitrim Education and Training Board (MSLETB), is pleased to invite you to join us on Tuesday, 25th June, at the National Surf Centre, Strandhill, Sligo, for a celebration of the Beaches and Dunes Project.

Reflect on the achievements and learnings from the Beaches and Dunes Project. The project featured a new two-day course aimed at empowering local communities to safeguard their coastal environments. The training, delivered by Education for Sustainability CLG, provided essential knowledge and tools for maintaining healthy sand dune systems. Training courses were piloted at five locations along the Wild Atlantic Way between April and June 2024.
